a fright
September 24th, 2007
i stood, no, i sat.
i don’t really remember, but i do remember when i gazed into her eyes.
in every relationship, every friendship, and every acquaintanceship, there comes a time. this time. the very instant i was experiencing right at that precise moment- where for the first time you look into her eyes. you’ve seen them a thousand times over a thousand years, but finally, you can actually seem them. you see every dark curvaceous line that dare proceed and stomp into nature’s eden. or you see the light, as bright as the sun melting the ceaselessly pure snow.
i saw none of that. i saw a wrinkly abyss of of death. pure mortality. a pernicious lens into her heart.
for that moment, i felt a fright. a fright that traveled through my body. it drowned out the kind voice. it dampened whatever intentions.
it was evil. i felt it.
