If you know me, then you probably know that I always push people to try harder. Most of the times it proves to be pretty crappy advice but nonetheless it gets to the point. “I failed the math test”, “do better on next one, go home and study now”. I mean to me it seems obvious that there is no point in giving up, it’ll take you nowhere. Try hard, then try harder. Study your brains out, run your butt off. Just hang on. Suffer well.
However eventually I’ll need to start listening to myself. I’ll be in the same situation as you. And well, it’s time. When I’ve reached bottom, when all I have is the fluff from my pillow supporting me, it’s time to start again. Jump, leap, write, cry, right back to the top. Giving up is probably harder than keeping on.
It’s 9th grade all over again.
Goodbye and hello!
