I finally finished reading Uncle Tom’s Cabin this morning.
Great, sad, sad, sad, book. This is one of the quotes I really like, it’s also in many a ways a summary of the book:
“Have not many of us, in the weary way of life, felt, in some hours, how far easier it were to die than to live?” (552)
Anyways geez sorry for making this blog so negative. It’s definitely not what I intend. I mean dang my life isn’t that bad anyways. The only thing is my own lack of self-discipline. So anyways sorry guys I’m a bad friend also =(. Anyways yep yep got my schedule and it’s basically everything I wanted so I’m ok with it. I’m really looking forward to meeting new people. What I really love about the beginning of the year is that it is the perfect opportunity to start fresh and change yourself to be more like yourself or less, whatever your goal is. Yep this year is going to be awesome. Here’s a rough list of my goals: meet a couple new people, achieve something… award of some kind I have no idea, do some more extra-curricular activities, and volunteer somewhere regularly. Oh yeah, I hope the movie also gets done, or at least started.
