What is a fake person?

Hehe. Well a fake person could be a mannequin or something. A piece of wood carved to resemble a human. However in a more conventional sense a fake person is someone who acts a certain way to conform or otherwise fit in. Often old friends might call you fake because you ditched them to be friends with some cool or not cool new group. Say for example you’ve known Tyrone ever since elementary school. Now it’s high school and you discover yourself drifting apart from him. You don’t feel like you’ve changed and neither does he. You hang out with all your new friends that you made this year. They are very cool. However Tyrone may not share your opinion. Tyrone gets mad and leaves comments on your blog. In Tyrone’s eyes, you are a fake person. Instead of staying true to yourself and being best friends forever with Tyrone you are now friends with Bianna and Shakayla. Poor Tyrone.

However in this situation there are two things people need to understand.

1. You can’t just desert Tyrone. It hurts.

2. Tyrone shouldn’t expect you to be friends with only him. If Tyrone really wants to keep you he’s going to have to adapt to changes.

It sounds bad but everyone gets tired of their companions. It happens, it’s no ones fault really. Heck the person you love the most, after being married with him/her for a couple decades you sure as hell want to try something new.

All I am trying to say is that if someone trys to fit in somewhere they don’t belong, it doesn’t mean they are fake. It just means they are inadequately prepared for that new situation. Hey they chose to hang with those new people. There’s a reason! Whether it be them, you, or someone else, the point is they chose their path and they aren’t fake for making their own decisions.

In most situations the person isn’t being fake. They’re just trying to form themselves and if you don’t like it, than go along with it or logically reason why they shouldn’t be a certain way. Don’t go on their blogs accusing them of being fake hypocrites.

Heres a nice quote from Sundays by Daphne Loves Derby for you to think about,

And what does it take to believe
In all the things you believe?
And maybe I need to listen more carefully
